As a professional apple computer user i absolutely cant stand the limitations of apples ios for their mobile devices.  Hence why i have been a huge android fan for over a decade now.  Is there a way we can get Join to run natively on mac computers?   I will beta test and help out as much as i can to make this happen if possible! 

So, without the mirror service, the SMS pushes work fine, except I have to clear the notifications on all of my devices if they are all open. On top of that, the device that pushed the SMS to all the others doesn't have it's SMS notification cleared, either.

I thought I found a fix when I enabled the mirror service. I chose to mirror my Textra App from the SMS pushing device. On any of the other devices, when I clear the incoming notification, it clears all the others...

Except for that double notification from Join that will not clear

There's a native app for Pushbullet which is called as Noti. It is pretty slick. It is also open-source.

It would be helpful to have notifications on "Select apps to forward notifications from" list to be able to differentiate apps with same name. For example Google Messenger is shown as "Messenger", the same for Facebook Messenger.

Real life scenario : I'm using Join to pass notifications from my smartphone to my smartwatch (full android 5.1). My phone sends notifications to my smartwatch, but smartwatch is not connected to the internet in the moment when notification was pushed. I connect smartwatch to the internet after, let say 5 mins, and I have no any info that I missed notification.

I typically have a popped out join window directly next to my main chrome browser for quickly texting/calling contacts, and it would be really nice to be able to have keyboard shortcuts to: - navigate between SMS/Notficiations (ctrl+tab or similar) - contact search (forward slash) - arrow down through (or use j/k like in gmail) each SMS conversation (or list of contacts when doing a contact search) - shortcut for SMS (enter) vs call (shift+enter or "c") on a contact

I'd like the ability to set the timeout for the pop-up bubble that shows whenever text is copied on our Android devices. User-settable time increments, to include a "no timeout" option are preferred.

Update contacts, When I add a new contact it doesn't add to join so if I go to text them from the chrome app I can't find their name.

i would love to be able to send pics or videos that are on my mac or pc desktop in a notification reply. all i can do is reply via text. also, i use facebook messenger as my main sms app since it consolidates both fb messages and sms to a single app.

i would like to see fb messages (not sms) show up in the sms section of the chrome attachment as opposed to notification section.

It would be usefull if i could start my network devices via Join directly with WOL

I'd be interested in a feature where I can click a contact from my tablet, and start the call on my phone. 

Technical notes: If Join has a receiver or activity in its manifest that listens for ""android.intent.action.DIAL", Join will pop up whenever a contact is tapped, along with other dialer apps like Hangouts dialer.

Give root users an option to paste using root rather than an Accessibility Service by running the shell command "input keyevent KEYCODE_PASTE"

Are there any plans to implement encryption for all files Join creates into Google Drive?

Google Drive allows data to be datamined which should be avoided.

Be able to choose to move the "Join files" folder in Google Drive from "My Drive" to another folder in My Drive, such that it would be "My Drive" > "Some Example Folder Name" > "Join files".

I use Google Drive for everything I do on my computer, navigating folders constantly on my computer throughout my day, and having another folder for Join is really frustrating. I would like to be able to hide it within my "Misc" folder to remove clutter.

Smartphone to smartphone:

When smartphone A is ringing, I get a notification of a missed call on smartphone B after the ringing ends.

How nice would it be if the screen of smartphone B is turned on with a message that smartphone A is ringing?

It might even be possible to answer that call instead of being too late and get a notify of a missed call.

In the case of smartphone to smartphone:

When you have your target smartphone set to silent, you won't know if there is a notification until you turn on the screen of the target smartphone.

It would be nice if Join can trigger the notification LED when a notification is received, just as with every normal notification.

the missed call notification from Join has a quick button to call back but it uses the phone that was called to place the call. I would like an option to call back from the device I see the Join notification on if it is a phone.

I found this app because I am looking for a solution for receiving sms and sending sms from my new galaxy s7 to my new finow x3+ android 5.1 smartwatch. It works great for this solution. However this feature only works over Wi-Fi. I'm not always on Wi-Fi and it would be great if this feature could work over Bluetooth. I'm sure there are others who would enjoy this feature as well, because it is a growing community.

I'm sorry for asking, but the faq said that revoking permissions at least would allow to choose a google account. unfortunately even though i was revoking permission to the primary account, the WEB UI (in firefox) opens with my picture from the primary account (all devices deleted). this account is not on all devices so i will need to use another one.. but i cannot change.. before giving access for the first time i could change the account in a pop-up.

The idea is a notification to be created asking if you want mirror notifications of this new application, already responding directly from the notification using quick actions.

So you do not have to go to the apps list and manually add the new app.
