The user does not have to switch between Google accounts to download the shared file from a PC browser that has different Google accounts. The reverse is also true, so a phone can download files shared by a PC without switching Google account.

An indicator on the taskbar or system tray icon that there are unread notifications. I don't think you'd even need to display a number. Even a red dot or something like Discord uses would be perfect. If I sent something from my work office to my home office, I'd like the indicator just to remind me that I had a notification so that I don't forget.

Right now, the desktop app allows you to send your clipboard to android and chrome devices, but not to other instances of the desktop app.

I'd like to disable the clipboard sync notifications if possible, but I understand if some people would like to see them. So being able to disable individual types of notifications would be helpful.

When you use Alt+F4 or right-click the app on the taskbar and click Close, it closes the app completely. The icon disappears from the system tray. If possible, could there be an option to minimize to the system tray instead of closing? To exit the app, you would close from the system tray instead.

A DND mode for Join desktop app, either a global switch or enable it in specific apps. 

The Join app/server stores the notifications and shows them when dnd is disabled (like if you switch off an android, after switching it on it recieves all the pushes sent while it was off)

Really tired if i must enable 1 by 1, it will be really helpful if i can just enable all just by one tap and please add menu for disable notification for certain apps to, thank youuuu!

When using 'Use Native Notifications' in the Join Desktop app, would it be possible to add the option to 'Hide text content in notifications' like there is with the Chrome extension?

I can't find any app to share clipboard between PC and iOS. I am an old Join user and wonder if there will be an iOS version.

Hi. Loving the app, but after recently having transitioned to microG to save my privacy from Google, I now can't login to Join, as it requires a google account on your phone.  An option to register an account within the app itself would be much appreciated

Hi, I want to manage multiple devices (might be 400 or more) so I can send tasker commands to them and everything what tasker and join can offer. It might be very problematic to see all devices on screen, in context menus etc. I suggest giving an option to configure device list window and maybe a way to select couple of devices not all of them.

I use Join Query Devices in Tasker with my devices to trigger certain tasks if that device is on the local network. Idealy I'd like to do these with my wife's phone too - her Join account is in linked to her own Google Profile so within Join this is a 'shared device'. Using Join Query Devices in Tasker for any of the shared devices, always returns false for %joindevicelocalnetwork() even if on the same network.

Is there a way, perhaps in future versions, to have an option to allow local network discovery/sharing across shared devices? If this already

There are different use cases: Some users want to dismiss notifications across devices. Some do not.

Suggested solution: Dismiss notifications across devices (status quo), but provide a button to only "dismiss locally". Used depending on situation. 

So if you dismiss a notification on receiving device you won't forget a new message when you return to original device some hours later. 

Currently the webpage ignores my setting of not using smooth scrolling and reintroduces a badly working variant of smooth scrolling through javascript.

The end result is a weird mixture between discrete jumps and smooth scrolling. I experience motion sickness when using the webpage on a desktop system.

Plus, on weaker systems (e.g. laptops running on battery) JavaScript smooth scrolling invariable becomes "laggy".

I would like to voice type with my android phone and have the text automatically sent to the editor that is opened on my laptop.

This is because Google Voice typing is accurate enough to save a lot of manual typing on my laptop.

This may be a longshot because it's actually a request to contribute to the Tautulli project (https://github.com/Tautulli/Tautulli), but it would be great to be able to use all of Join's API parameters. For example, provide the ability to set a notification category for Tautulli Join notifications. 

Pushbullet had a feature where you can right-click on a web page and do "Send to XYZ" where XYZ is a different person (i.e. my wife).  On Mobile, you were able to do Share... Pushbullet.. and choose the other person.  It would show up as a "message" to the other person.  It was an easy and very fast way to share a web page with someone.

Anything similar on Join?  So far I can't find a similar feature to send things to a different person.

When the conversation tab auto-refreshes it could check if a conversation is still on the phone. If it's not, it should delete it from the desktop app as well If I disable - reenable the sms from the mobile Join app (settings/SMS and Phone Calls), the conversations are refreshed correctly - the extra ones are deleted from the desktop app, but that's not ideal, methinks :)

If I'm in a conversation in the desktop app, hitting the conversation tab button upstairs could lead to the general conversation screen.

Right now if I want to exit to the general conversations screen I hit the arrow at the left, but that's harder to aim than the tabs upstairs.

It would be nice to be able to go up a level from the conversation tab button
