Alt + F4 currently closes the desktop app completely. Could it instead minimize it to the tray?

When you use Alt+F4 or right-click the app on the taskbar and click Close, it closes the app completely. The icon disappears from the system tray. If possible, could there be an option to minimize to the system tray instead of closing? To exit the app, you would close from the system tray instead.

I actually agree with "". Once minimized to tray. You can simply right-click and choose close.

You can simply press the Windows+M button to minimize the active window and show the desktop.

Go to settings and choose Launch Minimized. If you have windows it should go into system tray

I think you misread the request. That is for launching the app, not closing.

The same on mac. You can hide it but as soon as it receives a notification it will pops back again.
