I don't think this is a top priority suggestion, but it would be nice to have nonetheless for the times a reset of the GCM keys is needed. I'm not sure why it happens, but for me it happens when I restore data for Join using TiBackup after a reset of my device. in Join's Diagnostics I would see that "Receive Push from server", "Receive Push with direct GCM Key", and "Receive push without going through Join's server" all fail despite refreshing the Devices list. seems like wiping Join's data is the only way to get everything working, however there are

At the moment one can choose which applications will send a notification through the Join app on the phone. If you then try to pish the notifications, those that come from blocked apps will not get pushed to the computer.

Non the less, if you try to fetch the notifications manually from the computer, all notifications will appear.

Thus it seems useful to have an option to either block both, or somehow have a list of different applications on the computer. Second option does seem unlikely considering that each device would have different apps.

When there's a lot of people in a group message it shows a big list of people. It would be nice to be able to name the group, especially when I name it in the phone messaging app. 

It would be awesome if there was a way to pause and play music/ podcasts playing on the phone from the computer. This could simply be a play / pause button, or even include skip and rewind buttons. I'm not asking that join start the audio in the first place, but that it can control it once it's playing on the phone.

Join apps so cool. Integrated with tasker. But when i'm using tasker toggle join settings, i want to display the affected settings state (toggle send notification). Can i request tasker read current settings?

I'm using the API (from 3rd party processes on my server) to send messages to the rest of my devices (these include the Android app as a client, not a sender). In those messages in Android, sometimes I'm unable to see the full title and message text of the notification, because of (I guess among other things) pure Android notification character limitations.

So it would be great if there is a separate screen with all pushes TO the Android app, where no matter of the length of the title/message,

Join does not support the ability to keep end-to-end encryption enabled and send pushes to shared devices, even when both user accounts have the same encryption password set. 

Very easy yet infinitely important feature: a new message tag next to an unread message. It's a preliminary feature in almost all messaging apps, so I was very confused when I saw that my unread messages didn't have some sort of indicator. Probably one of my only problems with the app. Thanks!

As discussed here, notifications/sms can be delayed up to almost 30 minutes because of how GCM handles the connection to the phone.

I managed to fix this issue by using an application which sends a heartbeat every 5 minutes, which helps maintaining the connexion between GCM and the devices. I'm no longer experiencing any delay in my notifications.

It would be great to be able to have the feature to send GCM heartbeat at specified interval right in the Join app.

For reference, HeartbeatFixerForGCM is the application I used, it's open source and available on Github.

Add ability to send and receive MMS messages with multiple media files.

When you share a file to another device it opens a Google Drive link to the file. The problem is that not always is that account signed in on that browser. 

Since we're anyway signed in with that account inside the Join extension, which has full access to read the Google Drive, why wouldn't the file open (may be download right away) right within Join? 

I get Skype messages but can just read not reply. Have to click then answer on my phone, would be great to reply right in the Join message.

Tasker can only send SMS messages to individual contacts, not group texts.

It would be awesome if AutoTools filled this gap.

I just want to put my name in the bucket. I would LOVE a native app for the mac. Or even some way to open the text window separately so it's not attached to chrome.

Take a look at how the MightyText PC texting app looks (on Chrome anyway)... You can see all the recipients on the left, and the currently selected session u are texting in to the right. It's a much better interface than JOIN, where you have to go INTO a text session, and can't see the list of recipients along the left anymore.  With all the sessions listed on the left, you can easily switch between them.  With the JOIN interface, you have to exit one discussion, go back to the list, pick another etc... Not near as good.

Note: your

API notifications come to my phone and to the Chrome extension. However, when refreshing from Chrome, the existing API notifications do not display. Only the non-API notifications are gathered from the phone.
