Be able to see and reply to Join notifications in Android auto.

I noticed that the Chrome extension and the Firefox extension are open source, but the Windows 10 app is not.

I understand why it's not a priority, I can't imagine the W10 app has nearly as many users as the Chrome extension. I feel like the Windows 10 app needs work and I would be willing to contribute to the project.

Currently, photo albums received as an MMS (such as from iPhones) are not properly displayed in the Chrome extension. Only one image (I believe the last one from the album) is displayed. For reference, the Android Messages app displays every image in the album.

As it says. When I archive a text in the Messages app, I don't want it to be shown in Join.

Can you make an option to play a video like i can play whatsapp voice messages?

for instance when the phone is not near me

i guess something so when i hit play it sends a link to chrome and play the video

It would be nice if the "return" button in the SMS view would hide (maybe just a little symbol next to refresh/settings). It can be a hassle with it there. Below is the view of a text I received. I cannot scroll up or down, since there is only on page. So that means (unless I've missed something, and that is entirely possible) that there is no way to see the contents of this text?

At least on the new Nvidia Shield TV 2 its really hard to navigate.

The remote wont work, and the gamepad wont show a mouse cursor inside Join.

Please allow to assign colours  to the share icons. It's easier to distinguish multiple devices of the same kind. Same could be done for the device list in the join as well

I would like to be able to send messages to my home server.

I think a reasonable way to do that would be to publish an spec for a service to recieve messages via a web hook. I would then be able to register the url to the webhook as a device and Join could get/post a payload (according to the spec) to that url.

The rest is up to me then.

Using Join can really clutter up the recent files list making it unusable. I've been getting around this by using stars and search in Drive but recent comes in really handy.

If I have the Win10 app open, any SMS message I receive automatically gets dismissed on the device. Sometimes I'm not near the computer, and want to see what the notification is, and poof, it's gone!

I'm on a Galaxy S7, using Nougat, and the Android Messages app by Google.

You can reply to an existing group text thread, but you can't create a new one on the chrome extension -- it only lets you select one contact.

when join is broken out of chrome (on my PC) and is the active window (in focus), dont flash a notification...  example, when I am on the notification screen viewing notifications, it is annoying when a new notification popup flashes on top...  also, when I am on the sms screen engaged in an SMS conversations, it is annoying when a popup flashes notification of a new message received from the same person I am texting.  also, when I am typing, if a new message comes in, the popup interrupts my typing when the notification flashes and shifts focus off the SMS

I love popping out the chrome extension on my home and work computer, and I can quickly message from there without getting my phone out.

But then I forget to close the extension.  When the extension is open, notifications are automatically dismissed on my phone.

Would be nice to be able to press something on my phone to close all open chrome extensions on other devices. 

Or perhaps an option on the phone to never auto-dismiss SMS, even when dismissed from chrome extension.

when I have more than 10 tabs open it is a pain to share everything to another devices
