Auto-Refresh current SMS conversation

In the Chrome plugin, if you have an SMS conversation open and new messages come in from the other person, the new messages don't display unless you manually click the refresh button. May not seem like much but it's annoying to constantly keep clicking the refresh button in the middle of typing a reply. It could either be on a timer or refresh at the moment a new message comes in.

I might have just figured out what it could be. Can you please check that your device is enabled in the Join Android app's settings -> SMS And Phone Calls -> Devices setting?

Also, make sure the SMS service is enabled as well.

I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only one! Hopefully we can find a proper fix for this :)

Yes, it happens when I keep the conversation window open and a new message comes in while it's still open. If I close it and reopen it, then it refreshes fine, but not while it remains open.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I do get the Chrome notifications when a new SMS comes in. That's why I found it strange that it doesn't trigger a refresh automatically. This has been happening since I originally installed the extension+app and it happens the same way on multiple computers that I have the Chrome extension installed on. I even recently enabled the beta releases of the extension in Chrome, but I still have the same issue.

That's very weird! It always refreshes right away for me! Do you keep the conversation window open when this happens?

Do you get notifications in Chrome when new SMS come in?
