Reduce the number of sub-menus required to navigate to perform an action from the desktop

When I want to either open a link on my phone I am confronted with the task of navigating the sub-menus shown in the image below in order to accomplish that task:

I understand that when I'm right-clicking on a hyperlink whose text I also have partially selected, there is an equal likelihood that I could want to do something with either the text or the URL.  However, this seems like a very small use case, and it would seem that even in that case, if someone has selected text intentionally, they would not want to be sending the link.  In other words, why would someone have text selected if what they are wanting to send to their phone is the link?

What I'm ultimately asking for is that the "Selection"/"Link"/"Page" option be removed.  If there is text selected, use that as what is to be sent, otherwise, send the link/page/etc.

Now pushed to the Chrome Web Store. Will be available in about an hour.

Actions are contextual, so if I click a link only the link actions will show up :) In this case I clicked an image with a link, so both actions for links and images showed up.

Nice! Thanks!

Would this be better?

Yeah, the extension knows what my favorite action is, right?  Maybe you could have that and a few other actions available at the top level with other actions available further down in the menus.

Nope, unfortunately there's not. That's what I wanted to do in the first place. I can just add them all under the same submenu when that happens. I just wanted to make as less confusing as possible :)

Given the limitations you describe, I suppose the implementation you have is probably the best we can get for now. Thanks!

I think the most common use case is when you right click an image with a link. Would you want to send the image or the link? But thanks for suggestion, I guess that it a rather limited use case as well.

That's a good point. I hadn't thought of that. I don't suppose there is a way to not have the menu when there is only one item in it and only show it in the few cases it's necessary is there?
