Do not disturb mode for notifications on Chrome

Do not disturb, so that when I am working for instance, if my phone is on silent, the join notifications arriving at my laptop should also be silenced. Or perhaps just a button in the chrome extension so that the sound and/or popup can be disabled for a set number of hours.

This is already possible.

Right-click the extension button on the top-right and choose "Mute Notifications".

Awesome thanks! How about the ability to check if phone is silent and auto-mute?
