Chrome Extension: Clicking on a Twitter notification should open that tweet, rather than the Twitter homepage

I admittedly haven't tried this in a while, but the last time I clicked on a Twitter notification, it brought me to the Twitter homepage instead of to that particular tweet directly. Is it possible to change this? There may be other apps that would also benefit from this.

Unfortunately there's no way for me to know the direct link of the tweet... sorry!

OK. That's unfortunate. Is this controlled by Twitter?

No, it's just how Android works. There's no way to get the URL that's "inside" a notification.
