Improved reliability for AutoInput click actions

Olá 🙂

Since I updated my SAMSUNG Galaxy S9+ to Android 10, the click actions of AutoInput have become very unreliable in all of my different tasks: sometimes the clicks work and sometimes they won't (even after a reboot of my smartphone).

This behavior seems to occur completely random - the click actions were much more reliable with Android 9.

Some users report that adding wait actions in front and after every click, sometimes improve reliability but hence bloating up the amount of task lines.

Can you give me an example of such an interaction where it doesn't work all the time?

Strangely enough I don't have any task which doesn't work all the time. If an AutoInput click is not working and I restart the same task directly again, everything is working fine. This issue is  also not related to any specific app.

Maybe it is a general issue with the Android 10 accessibility service?! As putting waiting tasks in front of every AutoInput click makes the execution more stable, would it be possible to program an (optional) automatic time delay feature into the AutoInput app?

Kind regards

Thomas

Ahh maybe that's the issue. Sometimes AutoInput is just to quick for the UI and tries to click stuff before the app is prepared for the clicks.

I could maybe add an option to delay before the click but I couldn't add it to all clicks cause that could break other situations where it works correctly.

Yes, an integrated option for a preset delay would be very helpful and avoid a lot of extra wait tasks 👍🏼
