Pidgin support or least XMPP support

Having a Join plugin for Pidgin would be an awesome idea in my opinion.

I use Pidgin with all of my accounts (Facebook, Discord, Steam, Telegram, Hangouts, etc) and SMS would pretty much make chatting on one program complete. It's also helpful because I wouldn't need Chrome open when I typically use Firefox for browsing.

There's already a Pushbullet plugin for Pidgin and another one for PulseSMS in development. Perhaps the code there could be a good place to start?

Sorry, I'm not sure how SMS is related to XMPP. Can you clarify?

Support of what exactly? Sending messages to other users?
